Yes! NBCU Academy was created to make journalism education more accessible. It’s completely free to use this app and there are no in-app purchases or upgrades.
I can’t find NBCU Academy in the app store
Since the NBCU Academy app is in the testing phase, it is not searchable in the Apple app store. The iPhone and iPad apps are only available for download from this link:

The NBCU Academy app is searchable in the Google Play store for Android devices.
How is the NBCU Academy app different from NBCUAcademy.com?
The NBCU Academy app allows for more interactivity, including taking courses, watching playlists, answering quiz questions and even engaging with other learners. App users can also enroll in notifications to be the first to know when new lessons are available.
I prefer to use a computer. Can I still access the app?
Yes! All the app features are available to desktop web users here: nbcuacademy.com/courses

Can I switch between my phone and computer without losing progress?
Yes, you can use the same account whether you’re on a computer or mobile device and pick up where you left off.
